By finishing MSc in Biological Photography & Imaging at the University of Nottingham, Xiaoming has a firm understanding of a range of techniques applicable to a wide variety of photographic fields. With a hard work his efforts were rewarded with a Licentiateship of The Royal Photographic Society in 2009.
A background of BSc Zoology at the University of Reading provided him with the knowledge to understand the behaviour of the wildlife he photographed. His skills are diverse including microscopic imaging, digital manipulation, graphic and web design, business and marketing strategies. In addition, he had worked at the Cole Museum of Zoology at Reading. The combination of these skills enables the photography of many subjects to the highest standard.
He has learned through photography he could raise awareness about different species and help people connect with many different issues. Through Xiaoming's photography, he hopes to inspires others to help protect and preserve our beautiful natural resources for the enjoyment of future generations. His main area of interest is in nature photography, however he is willing to participate in different projects to gain insight into the world in which we live.
